Guadalupe Capozzi is a native of the Central Valley who teaches Criminal Justice at West Hills Community College. She has over two decades of experience working in various aspects of the criminal justice system and over five years as an educator. She recently retired from a 25-year career in criminal justice. During her last two years as a Supervising Parole Agent, she has managed two parole units that supervise Kings and Tulare Counties, to include the Coalinga State Hospital. Guadalupe earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice with an emphasis on Restorative Justice from Fresno Pacific University in Fresno, Ca. Guadalupe joined the board of Champions in 2013 and has since contributed towards opening the largest in-patient drug treatment program in Kings County. She believes in community engagement and serves in the area of Women’s Ministry at her church. She is known to her colleagues and friends as inspiring, compassionate, and a visionary. She has four children and currently lives in Lemoore, Ca.
