Champions is a nonprofit organization that has served Kings County and the surrounding areas since 2000. Initially specializing in substance abuse treatment and recovery, Champions has grown to become one of the main providers for social and community-based programs within Kings County.  Champions programs serve women, women with children, and men as well as those involved in the criminal justice system, homeless populations, cultural and ethnic minorities, and those with co-occurring disorders.

Program Manager | Hannah’s House (Female Residential)

Under the direct supervision of the Executive Director, the Program Manager will manage and oversee all of the functions for a residential SUD co-occurring treatment program and sober living/transitional housing program. For more info click here.  

Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Counselor

Under the supervision and direction of Program Manager, the Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Counselor functions as a member of adult alcohol and drug treatment team and provides culturally appropriate outpatient substance abuse treatment and recovery services. For more info click here.  

Residential Facility Monitor (Hanford)

Under the direct supervision of the Program Manager, the Residential Facility Monitor will supervise residents by monitoring and providing the enforcement of rules and maintaining security.   Supervise daily living functions, ensures facility maintenance, cooking and cleaning; assist in providing program activities; monitors residents and visitors in program participation and compliance.  For more info click here.  

Housing Navigator

Under the direct supervision of the CalAIM Program Manager, the Housing Navigator, provides client advocacy, case management, outreach and engagement, enhanced care coordination, health promotion, comprehensive transitional care, member and family supports, coordination of and referral to community and social support services, benefit establishment, linkage to stable housing, and all other supportive services as needed.
